If yours isn't here, ask directly — no question is too basic.
Not yet. I'm fully insured, and actively working toward full state general contractor licensing — see the roadmap on the homepage. I'll never take on a project that legally requires a license I don't hold, and I'll always be upfront during the estimate about what's in scope for where I'm at right now.
Depends on the scope — some renovation and deck work needs a municipal permit, some doesn't. I'll tell you clearly during the walkthrough whether your project needs one, and whether that's something I can help coordinate or something you'd pull yourself as the homeowner, given my current licensing status.
It depends heavily on scope — a deck build or siding job might run 1–3 weeks, a home renovation longer. Since it's just me on every job, your written estimate includes a realistic timeline based on what's actually ahead of yours on the schedule.
Not through a lender partnership at this point — but I'm happy to talk through a payment schedule that works for both of us during the consultation.
For most renovation and deck/siding work, yes — I section off the work area and keep dust containment in place. I'll flag upfront if your specific project would call for anything different.
My written estimate is itemized by material and labor line, not a single lump sum. You'll see exactly what you're paying for before you sign, and any change during the project needs your written approval before I bill for it.
I carry liability insurance specifically for this — happy to provide a certificate on request. If something on your property is damaged during the work, it's repaired or replaced at no cost to you.
Not yet — roofing is on the roadmap once general contractor licensing is complete. Right now I focus on home renovations, decks & siding, and framework.
Since it's a one-person operation, scheduling fills up — for renovation and deck/siding work, a few weeks' lead time is typical once you've signed. Reach out early if you have a timeline you're working around.
Yes — I'm fluent in English, Español, and Português, and happy to do the whole process, from estimate to final walkthrough, in whichever's most comfortable for your household.
